My week begins with a 4:15am wake up call…

If you’re looking for something new, challenging, yet still (somewhat) fun…check out Texas Fit Chicks!

Last week, I had 3 new client meetings, a network meeting and of course all of our kids school activities and sports!

It was another busy week for The Pate’s!

On Monday I worked from home.

For the past couple of months, I have been doing our grocery shopping online!

I order our groceries for the week and all I have to do is drive up to pick up the groceries!

Our weekends have been super busy!

By the time I got our order input, all the pick up times on Sunday had been reserved.

So on Monday, I dropped the kids off at school, then stopped at our neighborhood Walmart to pick up our groceries for the week!

I was able to workout, get the kids to school, “grocery shop” & put away groceries, all before beginning my work day at 9am!

THIS IS THE BEST THING, EVER!!!!!

The rest of the day was spent working on quotes, invoices, paperwork, etc in my office.

I picked the kids up from school…

Avery and Talon both had gymnastics.

By the time we get home on Monday’s (actually everyday), we rush to eat dinner, do homework, shower, and get ready for the next day!

On Tuesday, I worked out at 5am, got the kids off to school, and then headed to a new client meeting.  This particular client was referred by one of my past clients and recently purchased a new home in McKinney.  Over the next few weeks, I will be designing several rooms of their home; space planning, lighting, paint, furniture, etc.

This is a fun and exciting project and I look forward to sharing my design with you next month!

Avery had gymnastics again after school-She is in her competition season and is working hard for her next meet which is on Saturday!

I’m a member of a networking group in McKinney, and we meet every Wednesday.  This past Wednesday was my “Business Showcase Presentation”, which means I had the opportunity to present Ashley Pate Interior Design, LLC to the group!

Here are a few action shots taken during my presentation…

We are looking for several more entrepreneurs/business leaders to join our group.  Please let me know if you’d like more information.

Thursday, I met with a new homeowner to discuss plantation shutters and woven wood shade options.  Later in the day, I met with a client who purchased one of my interior design sessions and I spent a couple hours rearranging furniture/accessories, and suggesting other design ideas to transform their home!

After school on Thursday, Avery had gymnastics and Talon had football practice.  I love watching them do what they love!!

On Friday‘s my office is closed.  I use this day to catch up on bookkeeping, errands, lunch with friends, etc.  I needed to get my car inspected and renew my registration, so that’s what I did after dropping the kids off at school.  The rest of the day I spent shopping!  I was looking for a few more accessories to finish one of my clients homes (and I found a couple things for myself, too)!

Our Friday nights this time of year are spent cheering on the McKinney Boyd High School football team.  I posted this picture on Instagram last week.

This season Talon is an official ball boy for the Broncos!

I hope everyone has a great week!

Live with what you LOVE,

Ashley
